But we are not the only ones on this planet. Our needs are always with us, but success and happiness in life are more readily found when we ask others, "What do you need?" We are very social creatures. We work best when we are among others and when they think well of us. It is when we think of the needs of others and help them attain those needs that we are the most satisfied ourselves.

Don't just ask what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country—that is the challenge John F. Kennedy made to citizens of the United States many years ago. We are best served when we willingly and knowingly serve others.
