Without leadership there is often confusion and uncertainly. Overbearing and bossy leaders may be followed, but are not often loved. They may be in a position of power, and the power is respected. But those on whom their power falls are often looking for escape routes.

Jesus Christ really was the Boss. His authority was more absolute than that of any man. Yet He was anything but overbearing and bossy. He is the example we are to follow. As husbands, brothers, friends or even as the “boss”—we need not be dictatorial or domineering.
