There are those who think the world owes them a living. Their hearts are full of discontentment and resentment. Lazy and bored with life, they think they should be entertained. Yet pleasure is absent in all they do.

Then there are those who think the world has given them opportunity. Their hearts are full of ambition, excitement, adventure and joy. They find pleasure in their chosen direction in life.

We can work at any task with vigor and energy. That is what we owe for the privilege of living (Ecclesiastes 9:7-10).
