When I had to wait for 15 years trusting in God to bless me with the mate for me, each “no!” to a promising relationship was tough at the time, but even then I could see that God had His arm around me with a big: “Yes! Now you are a little more ready when I bring the right one!” Mary and I are now enjoying our 27th year of "yes"s and "tomorrow"s!

How sad when kids are reared in an environment of endless "no"s and "can’t"s. To His boys and girls God says, “Yes, you can!”

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13)!

Jesus promises, “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:14)! If it’s something that is according to His will, you’ve got a guaranteed “yes!” on it!

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). Yes!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). Yes!

“All the promises of God in Him [Jesus Christ] are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
