Sharing
Can we trust God to the point where we can share what we have with others no matter how little we have?
In John 6:8-14 we read of what Christ did with a boy's small donation. (This boy seems to be the only one who was prepared—the only one who brought lunch.) Even Christ's disciples didn't believe it was enough. Yet when they were finished feeding the 5,000, they took up 12 baskets full of leftovers (verse 13)!
We don't know if the young boy got to take the leftovers home or not, but we do know that God took a little and fed a lot with food to spare. The lesson is sharing, and it is not the quantity but the attitude that matters most.
