Our collection of bric-a-brac has two pieces sculpted by a lady who collected her own clay. She worked the clay and then molded and shaped it into works of art. Each unique piece was painted and fired to finish it. The design and color of each reflected her personality. I often admire her work and think how no one else could come along and finish a piece for her. I’m sure she wouldn’t allow it!

So it is with mankind and the Master Potter who calls people then molds and shapes them for His Kingdom. Each unique individual develops and reflects the personality of God. Humans cannot call anyone to the truth, or bring them to repentance. We must remember to keep our hands off of God’s clay.
