An old saying goes, "Don't tell God how great your problems are, tell your problems how great your God is." We tend to dwell on our problems first, but if we turn that around and recognize how great our God is, then our problems become insignificant. He did not promise us a life without problems. We may build character by the things we learn through trial and misfortune. He may not fulfill all our wishes, but He will keep all His promises. Think big and think far, far ahead. Problems vanish, but God and eternity remain.

He has promised us: "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5), and He will keep that promise if we turn to Him for our needs.
