For many people, once they obtain a goal or objective, life can become meaningless. They may become disillusioned and give up hope. They may turn to drugs, alcohol or something else to help them feel good or to give purpose to their life.

There is a reason for life, and it can give us a sense of purpose throughout life. God says to seek first His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33) and our other needs will be met in that search. It is not an impossible quest—He wants you there.
