We know it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). Funny how hard it is to just freely give something to someone. People seem to think there is a hook somewhere—or perhaps they feel a little degraded. Nobody can give to another unless the other accepts that gift.

Giving is a sort of art. When you know there is a need you also have to realize that some people find it hard to take help or a gift. Think of a way that will not offend—and really be a helper. One good way is not to be waiting for a "thank you." Let God give you the blessing—that is thanks enough (Matthew 6:2-4).
