There is an unseen law at work within the lives of humans. Our Creator stated that there is no peace for the wicked (Isaiah 57:21). Though it may seem as if they are at times prospering, they are also standing on slippery slopes (Psalm 73:18).

There is always a day of reckoning for the wicked, because God has the final say in all things. Their acts have created enemies, and there is no rest from the pressures of those who envy them.

A righteous and good person, however, has learned to love others and will be loved in return. Friends and family will surround him or her.

Peace does not come from how much power or wealth we accumulate, but an inner mind-set that comes from doing what is right in God’s sight. That kind of peace is a gift from God.
