What religion or denomination is the United Church of God?
We have no association with any other organization or denomination. Instead, we trace our origins to the Church that Jesus Christ founded in the early first century. Our ongoing commitment is to recapture and practice New Testament Christianity. We strive to follow the same teachings, doctrines and practices of the early Church.
Our mission is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God to the entire world as a witness, to teach all nations to observe what Christ commanded and to care for those whom God calls (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20). We desire to share God's way of life with those who earnestly seek to worship and follow our Savior, Jesus Christ.
To fulfill Jesus' command for His followers to feed His sheep (John 21:15-17), the United Church of God has congregations around the world. In these congregations, believers assemble to receive instruction from the Scriptures and to fellowship with people of like mind.
Our ministers are available to counsel, answer questions and explain the Bible. If you would like to contact a minister or visit one of our congregations, you can find information on our Web site, or feel free to write to us at P.O. Box 541027, Cincinnati, OH 45254, or call us at (513) 576-9796.
